First day of hedge planting on site and what a great turnout from all you ladies. So great to see the site starting to develop. Thanks to @21stcenturythame for partnering with us, Oxfordshire Community Foundation for funding the sessions, and @woodlandtrust for funding the plants.
It is so important to provide a variety of habitats for wildlife across the UK and Her Land is happy to be able to start adding hedging.
This hedging is also being planted to provide shelter for a new syntropic agroforestry field where food plants are planted intermingled to prove that mixing planting is good for the plant, for the soil and for us.
