We’re going to Knepp!
If you have always wanted to see the incredible rewilding site at Knepp in Sussex, now is your chance!
21st Century Thame have arranged a coach trip leaving Thame at 0830 on Sunday 28th June, returning around 1900. We will have a couple of wildlife experts with us to help with getting the most out of the trip and what to look for.
We will explore in small groups or independently, as you prefer. If you are coming alone you’re welcome to join our volunteers to walk round and have lunch.
If you aren’t familiar with the Knepp project, have a look on https://knepp.co.uk/
There are storks, beavers, and purple emperor butterflies! We also have a film showing of Wilding (filmed at Knepp) on 1st June, to get you in the zone – Book here.
To book for the Knepp coach trip please fill in the request form here using Google Forms https://forms.gle/xwJQF7d1BDprgwC59 which contains further details and we will get back to you soon.
The trip cost is £40, with reduced rates for under 21s and people on low incomes (£25), providing the trip costs are covered. If you need one of these, please fill in the form now and we will let you know once numbers are in. Over 11s only, sorry.
The coach will be available at a couple of points in the day if you need to rest; the site is very large and needs to be explored on foot, though you can choose how far you would like to walk. There is a toilet on the coach.
We have reserved lunch places in the Wilding Kitchen but you can bring your own lunch. Knepp Wilding Kitchen | MICHELIN Green Star Restaurant.
