Next week we have a pre-meet for our exciting new project!
Please come along with your children (or solo if that’s easier for you) for a chat with Jess (secondary school teacher and 21st Century Thame Education Lead) and our team anytime between 10 and 12 on Monday 26th January. We aren’t running activities at this event – we would like to meet families interested in attending a monthly events programme so that we can find out your family’s interests and needs in fuller detail, and tailor the programme plans to suit as many people as possible. We have had initial interest from a wide range of ages at both primary and secondary level.
Our sponsor BP Collins has kindly let us host the meeting at their base, just round the corner from Waitrose.
As this is a private business car park, unfortunately there is not parking at the site. It is very close to Waitrose or the car parking spaces that are outside Smoochy Moo Moos. We are sorry that we have realised this could make the venue difficult to access for those with a blue badge. If this creates an accessibility issue for you, Jess or one of the team would of course be very happy to meet you at a suitable venue and time, or arrange a phone discussion, as you prefer. Just drop us a message to [email protected] to let us know what sort of times, dates and places are good for you if you have an accessibility issue. If you can’t come at that time for other reasons, please drop us an email with a bit of information about your children, and your contact details.
The actual monthly events will be held in a range of different locations, generally outdoors in Thame’s green spaces, according to the session content. They will be held on either Monday or Tuesday mornings, depending on what would fit the majority of families.
