Wonderful to see a healthy hedgehog awake after it’s hibernation in a garden in Thame.
A recent survey showed that there has been a 3% increase in hedgehog sightings last year – this is great news only in that it shows a turning of the tide of decline.
That decline since the turn of the century is by 50%. So 3% is a very small gain and hedgehogs and all our UK wildlife need as much help as they can get.
Choose to become the solution. Give you garden over in part or entirely to wildlife. Your enjoyment from your garden will be manyfold if you do.
