It was wonderful to receive a message from our of our followers who won this lovely bird box last year.
The message read :
From Nina….Random email but my daughter won a robin nesting box in a competition you ran with Thame Guides last year. I thought you might like to know that we currently have baby robins in there! We are all very excited about it!! I’ve attached the best photo I could take (on zoom and through a tree!). You can see two babies there- we think there might be four altogether 😊 So just wanted to say thank you for the nesting box!
You can help wildlife to thrive in your garden by providing the right habitat for all the different creatures that live nearby.
Here are a few ideas : for hedgehogs, birds and insects. Habitats can be made out of what you cut down in your garden so have little or no cost. These are actually the best ones – the natural habitats. Or for the more tidy gardens you can buy bug hotels and hedgehog houses – we make these from recycled wood in our local workshop and sell them in order to fund our work.
