We would like to thank Rodney Lovell from Landmark Garden Design and Construction for his generous donation of £250 towards the #ThameTrees project.
The #ThameTrees project was started with one goal in mind :
to plant trees in and around Thame.
Our initial goal was to plant 500 trees in 2020 but we blew that out of the water when we distributed over 1000 saplings to residents, allotments and businesses at the Volunteer Fair in February.
With the amazing support from all our donors we followed that up with another 250 trees ordered just before lockdown in March and planted in Moreton.
We have 420 whips arriving shortly from a grant of trees from the Woodland Trust and these will be planted along with many of the nurtured hard wood cuttings and whips from the volunteer fair in Thame and in the surrounding villages.
