Craftivism workshop Saturday 29th October

Are you …..

· Frustrated with the lack of leadership on issues that really matter?

· Feeling powerless as the world around us changes and our planet suffers?

· Keen to find a way to make a difference?

Join Thame’s first CRAFTIVIST workshop on Saturday 29th October from 14:00 – 16:30 at Racquets Fitness Centre, North Street, Thame, OX93TH (behind the Cattle Market).

Craftivism is a way of making a stand about key issues but doing so in a different, more engaging way. It is not about loud protests but about using craft and sewing to make beautiful, compassionate handmade gifts, to connect with leaders and engage them with the changes needed.

We will be using craftivism to encourage our local leaders to take positive action for the future of our lovely town and community as the climate changes. And we plan have a lot of fun in the process!!

Join us for a cup of tea, some sewing and a natter about the issues we care deeply about for the future of our town. Bring any yellow fabric you have…! (You don’t need to be a whizz at craft or sewing – it’s the taking part that counts :))
