Where some cuttings and saplings went

This is an email from one person who took a number of saplings and cuttings during our promotion in February / March :

Our allotments now have a reinforced border where we have planted the trees in sparse hedge areas. Given the rain we have had they have done well including a lovely cobnut near my allotment.

We already had a fruit tree barrier between us and the nearby fields sprayed with all sorts. That did not do well this year with the frosts so no plums and very few apples!

Some members took home one or two to strengthen their hedges so all in all the trees were well used.

The trees were well appreciated. Thank you all involved. Google earth shows good tree cover on our setting!

Good wishes

Tim
