Wow ! This weekend we will be planting out some of the whips that have been nurtured since February last year.
These were around 18 inches tall with no leaves and no roots when they were taken home to be potted up and carefully tended by our wonderful volunteers.
These were whips that were purchased using sponsorship money supplied by the businesses whose logos you can see below. We thank all of them, and in particular Lucy Electric, for this generous support for this project.
A new woodland is being created in Sydenham as a result of the generosity by businesses and residents and this project has included so many people who have given their time to ensure that we have plenty of trees ready to plant this Spring.
