On Friday and Sunday this weekend (first weekend of July 2021) we have planted around 60 trees around Orchard View Farm.
Orchard View Farm is a wonderful new farm in Little Meadle with sheep, pigs, deer, chickens and a butchers and deli alongside a cafe with great food.
Recently the farm has opened a glamping and camping site that’s already fully booked every weekend of the summer. The toilets and showers are new and clean and there are great views in every direction.
Thanks to James and his team for joining in with the #ThameTrees project and allowing us to plant so many trees on farm.
I’m off now to apply for another Woodland Trust community pack to continue planting trees on Orchard View Farm and wherever other residents and landowners in our locality will allow us to plant trees.
